Combining advanced artificial intelligence with real-time local weather data, lunar calendar, multi-garden graphic design, and a rich agronomic encyclopedia, TutorOrto turns your smartphone into your personal agronomist.
1. Main Dashboard and Daily Activities
The home screen is your garden's daily command center. It offers a clear, immediate view of everything that requires your attention:
Local Weather & Smart Alerts
The app detects weather conditions in your area and automatically triggers notifications and warning banners for critical events:
- Wind Alert: For wind gusts exceeding 20 km/h forecasted for tomorrow, the app alerts you to secure your greenhouse and delicate plants.
- Cold Alert: When temperatures drop below 3°C, an alert is generated to protect crops from frost.
- Heat & Drought Alert: Recommends watering during cooler hours during heatwaves.
Smart Irrigation Advice
Analyzing recent rainfall, atmospheric humidity, and forecasts, the algorithm indicates whether watering is needed or if you can save water thanks to recent rain.
Daily Activities (Dynamic Checklist)
The daily checklist gathers all tasks for the day based on season, moon phase, and garden status:
- Recommended Sowing & Tasks: Sowing suggestions filtered by lunar compatibility and temperature.
- Greenhouse Transplant Alerts: For vegetables sown in seed trays, the app calculates minimum nursery days and displays an automatic notice as soon as the plant is ready for transplanting.
- Harvest Alerts: Automatic notifications when crops reach their minimum harvest days.
- Cultural Techniques: When you perform a technique (e.g. hilling, pruning, mulching), the activity is recorded in your diary and hidden from daily tasks for the remainder of the month.
